Saguaro Fireplace

The Saguaro

This fireplace is a large beautiful design that will surely dress up any outdoor space and it will demand respect as the main focal point. The seating is three-sided; 16 inches deep in the front and 32 inches deep on the sides. The overall dimensions of this fireplace are 128 inches (10 ½ feet) wide (left to right), 48 inches (4 feet) deep (front to back), and 78 inches (6 ½ feet) high (bottom to top). The firebox opening measures 32 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 26 inches high. The firebox has an arched top that stands out as a very elegant feature.

The Saguaro fireplace is designed with a 360 degree mantel and large horizontal surfaces to the sides of the chimney. The mantel along with the flared chimney top provides some great focal points. The chimney face is large enough to adorn it with wrought iron decoration, outdoor art, or whatever suits your taste.

I had seen outdoor kitchens and fireplaces in magazines and on TV and thought I would inquire with a contractor about having them built. I provided the contractors with example pictures of barbeques and fireplaces I liked and received quotes as high as $7,800 to build just the fireplace. more...
