Prescott FireplacePrescott Fireplace

The Prescott

The Prescott fireplace is inspired from the Featured Builder #1 fireplace. This fireplace however is specially designed to be built on a slab with no need to elevate it to the height of a deck. The seating surface is 16” deep in front of the fireplace and it has a very large firebox. The overall measurement of the structure is 80” wide, 48” deep, and 76” tall. The firebox measures 48” wide, 24” deep, and 30” tall before the installation of firebrick. There is minimal block cutting in this design making it very simple to construct.

The Prescott fireplace plan has a total of 29 pages.

I had seen outdoor kitchens and fireplaces in magazines and on TV and thought I would inquire with a contractor about having them built. I provided the contractors with example pictures of barbeques and fireplaces I liked and received quotes as high as $7,800 to build just the fireplace. more...
