This is our first fire pit plan available on our website. We understand that not everyone wants a huge fireplace in their backyard and that some may want a simple, inexpensive fire pit instead. For this reason we offer you this construction plan for a 48" x 48" square fire pit design. The inside "pit" dimension measures 32" x 32" which is great for a large fire. The total seat height is approximately 18" depending on what material you use to top it off. The optional cap block provides a nice solid surface for you to stucco the entire structure if you choose to not top the structure with flagstone or poured concrete. This will keep the cost down and will make for a quick build. This fire pit requires no block cutting to complete the rough build.
