Douglas Mini FireplaceDouglas Mini Fireplace

The Douglas Mini

This fireplace is a great corner structure that will surely be the focal point of your outdoor space. This design is a smaller version of the original Douglas and Douglas II and with the raised extensions on both sides, plenty of seating space is available for many to sit around the fire. This design includes a two stage mantel and a matching flared top. The front seating is 16” deep. To the sides of the chimney, there are wide shelves, which are big enough for candles or other decoration and adornment.

The Douglas Mini fireplace plan has a total of 26 pages.

I had seen outdoor kitchens and fireplaces in magazines and on TV and thought I would inquire with a contractor about having them built. I provided the contractors with example pictures of barbeques and fireplaces I liked and received quotes as high as $7,800 to build just the fireplace. more...
